Matt takes his first look at Horror Adventures from Paizo for Pathfinder.  Some of the highlights Matt discusses are Corruptions, Madness, and expanded Fear rules.

I think the best part of Horror Adventures are the Corruptions.  The compleity they add to role-playing is just too much fun for everyone.

Had the chance to meet up with Eric from Antimatter Games at Gen Con.  Deep Sea is a miniatures game about underwater combat.  You can even get the bends.

Check out the Through Gamer Goggles Facebook page to see some pics of Deep Sea – the shark is awesome.

At Gen Con I finally had the chance to meet with Jonathan Nelson of AAW.  We chatted about Snow White – not the Disney version. One amazing thing I learned about this product is it has rules for love.  How sweet is that.

I look froward to reviewing this book soon.

At Gen Con I hooked up with Firelock Games to chat about Blood and Plunder.  Blood and Plunder is a historical game set during the height of pirates plundering the coastline. All I have to say is beautiful models plus boarding rules has to make for a good time.

There frigates are amazing.

3c6c05f4b9b113d27bdc6e85eb758f36_originalThis one is a little bit unusual, the game will not be at Gen Con for sale. What! Whoa! Let’s back up. Dropfleet  Commander was kickstarted by Hawk Wargames, the makers of Dropzone Commander, and it was a huge success. Of course it was, Dropzone Commander has a great community, one of the best, plus Hawk Wargames doesn’t seem to make mistakes.  I mean they put out great models, have good rules and they love their community even if they did make mistakes major mistakes they’d be forgiven. With that kind of support they shouldn’t have been surprised by the success – they were.

At Origins 2016 I had a chance to catch up with my good friend Bryan Poe from Arcane Wonders.  We talked about Mage Wars Paladin and Siren.  Bryan may have leaked a few other things as well.

I do believe if you listen closely a couple of allusions can be heard.

CAT27451_Market-Panic_Cover-240x300Shadowrun: Market Panic ($44.99)
Chaos is horrible for business—unless your business is shadowrunning. The Big Ten megacorporations of the Sixth World are reeling, with scandals, disasters, and crippling attacks coming at them from all angles. NeoNET is scrambling to maintain AAA status, Ares is trying not to let the secret rot at the heart of the corp become public, while Aztechnology, fresh from taking on a dragon in Amazonia, is looking at a facedown with another great dragon. And that’s not all—every corp is a pile of schemes, turmoil, upheaval, and teetering chaos, because that’s how they operate.

Market Panic runs down the state of the Big Ten for Shadowrun, providing the background, story developments, and plot hooks players and gamemasters need to add excitement, intrigue, and Sixth World flavor to their adventures and campaigns. If you’re going to run for or against the big megacorporations—and that includes all shadowrunners—this is critical information to have so you know what you might get thrown into, who you’re going up against, and how you might obtain enough intel to survive

The SyndicateThe Syndicate Traders League (STL) Patrol Fleet has been designed to be light on its feet and rapidly deployed to deal with any incursion into space controlled by this faction. The highly capable Spur Class Battlecruiser takes up the Tier 1 slot on this fleet, bringing with it plenty of firepower and flexibility. Whilst not the most devastating spaceship in the Firestorm Galaxy, few rival its all-round capability in battle. Two Wraith Gunships add more violence to this Patrol Fleet, and 5 Shadow Class Frigates round things off. The Shadows can be fielded in a maximum of 3 to a Squadron, which allows players to field 1 full strength and 1 slightly under-strength Squadron OR take 2 of the Frigates and attach them to the Spur Class.
