Hordes: CoO Woldwrath Gargantuan

$ 129.99 SRP

Woldwraths stand as towering monuments to the woldcrafter art, meant to tap into and unbind the ultimate fury of Orboros. Brought to life amid strenuous, blood-fueled rituals conducted atop powerful conjunctions of ley lines, woldwraths channel the vast energies that flow within the earth. Their tempestuous assaults are prefaced by voltaic flickers that play along darkening clouds above and the pulsing runes inscribed across their stone forms. The Woldwrath gargantuan comes in a box (PIP 72067). A player may field up to two Woldwraths for each warlock in a Circle Orboros army.

Hordes: CoO Warpborn Skinwalkers (5)

$ 44.99 SRP

Warpborn skinwalkers are chosen from the finest hunters and trackers among the families of the Wolves of Orboros and subjected to rituals that transform them into hulking savages. With their senses heightened and their bestial bodies augmented to become stronger than any human, they wield their massive pole axes with enthusiastic brutality. A player may field up to two Warpborn Skinwalker units for each warlock in a Circle Orboros army. SPECIAL NOTE: PIP 72070 contains the same Mk II stat card as PIP 72046. The models in this box represent the same figures in the game. PIP 72070 replaces PIP 72046 and PIP 72053 by offering their contents in a complete unit. However, the models in PIP 72070 are a new sculpt and therefore look different from the models in PIP 72046 and PIP 72053. In addition, these models are plastic rather than metal. The replaced PIPs will no longer be available from Privateer Press beginning October 1, 2012. Box

Cryx Kraken Colossal

$ 124.99 SRP

Kraken—Cryx Colossal (resin and white metal) The Kraken ranks among the most terrifying necromechanikal fabrications ever loosed upon the mortals of the Iron Kingdoms. With surprising agility for its size, a Kraken can quickly maneuver to take advantage of any situation on the battlefield. As it rises from the depths, its hellblaster cannon delivers devastating payloads supported by bursts from its flayer cannon to cut down infantry. The Kraken’s long tendrils erupt like steel serpents in the midst of formations, tearing apart warjacks and grasping victims to fuel its vile hunger. The Kraken colossal comes in a box (PIP 34050) and includes a colossal wreck marker. A player may field up to two Krakens for each warcaster in a Cryx army.

Just what is a Colossal?   We do not have a lot of information to go on.  What we do know  is they are big.   These special warjacks rest on a 120mm base and have multiple weapon systems.  You will learn a lot more if you watch this video.

What do they mean for you as a gamer?  We have been tossing ideas around.    After some debating we have come up with these questions.

Is this the end of  Warmachine as we know it?  Maybe, but we doubt it.  It is about to get better.

Will players want to play bigger games?  Lets hope so, there is nothing better than playing with everything.

Will they be too much for a regular game?  This is a tough one, that really depends on what you consider regular and how many points they cost.
