At Origins Sarah and I talked about Junk Orbit, Altiplano, Narrow Passage, Kids on Bikes, Overlight, Outbreak Undead, and so much more there is even two game demos in here.
This was my first interview with Renegade Games ever and I am so thankful that Sara Erickson took so much time out of her day for me.
At Origins 2018 I caught the new Battletech director about the new beginner box and Battletech box set. He also drops a few hints to his plans for the year of Battletech at Gen Con. There a few other Easter eggs in here too.
I can’t wait for Gen Con now.
I chatted with Obscure Reference about Overlords of Infamy. Where you goal is to make others (in game) feel miserable.
Looks like it is going to be fun, it might be one of those games to play with the right people though.
I spoke to the guys about Franchise, SkyLands, and Bastille which are all going to be on Kickstarter just after Gen Con. And Travis tells us about Luxor.
There booth was pretty Packed so I didn’t get to film as much game play as I wanted.
Sean and I had a chance to talk about Gizmos and Dragon Castle during Origins 2018 at the Cool Mini or Not booth.
Gizmos is a fast paced gadget contraption building race.
I caught up with Diane Sauer from Shoot Again Games at Origins to talk about there new release Bigfoot VS Yeti and Born to Serve.
I will always cheer on bigfoot!

I stopped by the Thames and Cosmos booth at Origins and chatted about Drop it. Imhotep and Andor. The more I think about it the more I like Drop it.

I caught up With Dave from SolarFlare Games at Origins Game Fair 2018 Where spoke about Robotech Force of arms and Nightmare Forrest. This is going to be some good gaming!
I think I should have bought this one, but I can pick it up at Gen Con, but because it’s Robotech I might not play it – just look at it.
Those of you that follow me know that the Gen Con Video Blitz is a relaunch of our canceled Season 8 Kickstarter. I knew I was going to fund pretty early on, but I didn’t expect to achieve it before Monday! So how did I know? I think, in part, it was because I already had some publicity from the full season Kickstarter attempt. The clincher was when I saw people pledging that I had never heard of. I knew that it was going to go all the way. We still haven’t had everyone hop back on board yet from the previous project, and we are moving through stretch goals already! While I am it it check this out:

With that said the first stretch goal has already been met, which is the Road to Gen Con 2018. The Road to Gen Con is my crazy way of communicating with people before the show. I did this a couple of years ago and I had a blast. One of the first things I will do for the Road To Gen Con is create a landing page for it. Then I will start reaching out to publishers for some inside information to promote them at Gen Con. There will be live Kickstarter videos on the topic of Gen Con – schedule coming soon. The Road to Gen Con will also include the most complete miniature and RPG release I can muster. No board games BGG has cornered the market on that one.
There are a lot of stretch goals to unlock and the rewards are awesome so don’t hesitate to check it out!
