Developer to Celebrate Release of Inaugural Title on “Adventure Creator” Platform; RPG Fans Invited to Visit Booth #509 from August 17–20 to Play Iconic RPG on iOS and Android

SEATTLE, WA – (July 12, 2017) – MetaArcade, a developer building a platform to allow players to create and publish their own RPG adventures, announced it will launch Tunnels & Trolls™ Adventures on the App Store and Google Play on August 17^th, coinciding with the first day of Gen Con 50 in Indianapolis. Tunnels & Trolls Adventures, which will also release on PC, Mac and Steam later this year, is a dungeon crawling RPG experience that brings new and classic quests to life from Tunnels & Trolls, the second RPG ever published. The game is the first component of MetaArcade’s new platform, with the other being the upcoming Adventure Creator software that will allow players to create their own quests for the game.

To celebrate the game and platform launch, MetaArcade will showcase the mobile RPG adventure title at Gen Con from August 17–20. Media and roleplaying fans alike will have a chance to play the game, talk to its creators and get an early look at the Adventure Creator software for creating your own quests.

Auroch / Steve Jackson Games Agree On Digital Ogre Release

Ogre, the classic game of future tank warfare, will come to PC via Steam next year in a hex/turn based adaptation by experienced Steam developer and publisher Auroch Digital. Ogre raised nearly a million dollars on Kickstarter for its giant Designer’s Edition, and one of the stretch-goal promises was “We will do a computer game.” Here it comes. Work on the project will begin immediately, and the game should be released in late 2017.

The event includes live audience auditions to become the monstrous roar of the boss the party will encounter, a workshop for creating sounds for tabletop games and incorporating Syrinscape and Realm Works into your game. O.K. I’m so super excited about this. HALO has been a part of this family since my children were still in diapers, it’s actually hard to believe it’s been so long. That isn’t the only reason why I’m looking into this game. It’s being made by Spartan Games who has a licensing agreement with Microsoft to make the game. Spartan Games makes great models and all of their games have been excellent , in my opinion.

Spartan Games will be at Booth 2733 and their product will be available through The War Store at booth number 1831.

Rex and I chat about the Rifts Character creator he is generator. At this point it’s in early alpha and it basically fills a character sheet. It can easily generate tables, which I think is a great feature. In the future Rex would like it to do math.
