NEW POCKET EDITIONS ANNOUNCED FOR PATHFINDER RPG

Pathfinder’s Legendary Core Rulebook and Bestiary Hardcover Rulebooks Now Available in Lighter, Smaller Travel Friendly Pocket Editions
REDMOND, WA (September 27, 2016): Paizo Inc., publisher of the award-winning Pathfinder Roleplaying Game, announces today the release of new softcover pocket editions for two of the game’s essential rulebooks, the Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Core Rulebook and Pathfinder Roleplaying Game: Bestiary.

The Core Rulebook and Bestiary pocket editions will include the same page count and all of the content of their hardcover counterparts, but will be published in a reduced size of 6.5” x 8.4”, with smaller type and images, a lighter paper stock, and lower price point. The pocket edition Core Rulebook has an MSRP of $24.99 and the pocket edition Bestiary has an MSRP of $19.99, each 50% off the MSRP of the hardcover editions.

I think the best part of Horror Adventures are the Corruptions.  The compleity they add to role-playing is just too much fun for everyone.

Matt takes a look at the Ultimate Intrigue from Paizo.  It features the Vigilante Class, verbal duels and intrigue systems to enhance your game. I think I will use verbal duels and the leadership system the most.

I think the pursuit rules have a place in any game there is a chase.  Check back soon for my full review.

James issthe fiction editor for Paizo, he is also the creative director for the Starfinder RPG releasing at Gen Con 2017.  In this interview we discuss Starfinder. We touch upon the character classes and how Paizo plans on making them feel futuristic without loosing their fantasy aspect.  We go on to talk about tech and how religion matures in Starfinder.  It was a lot of fun and I hope what we discussed doesn’t change too much while it’s on the drawing board.

I have to admit I was skeptical about Starfinder at first, but the more I hear the more I like it!
