Watch as Matt takes a look at Ulterior motives the latest expansion for Frostgrave. These cards change the objective of some the scenario you are playing.
I have played three games now with Ulterior Motives and I like it. Check back for more details in a few days, or better yet subscribe so you don’t miss it.
I picked up at and played at Alliance Open House. Agamemnon is a tile placement territory control game that is fast to learn and full of thinking (abstarct strategy).
Agmemnon is one of those games that is different every time you play it.
In this Box Breaking Matt Takes a look at Colditz from Osprey. The game that depicts real life event of Major Reid while imprisoned in Germany. If you are a history buff this game is for you.
This is coming to you far later than I wanted it too, because I had several technical difficulties that for whatever reason prevented about twenty scheduled posts from scheduling. Anyway they will be coming to you soon.
Matt takes a look at Let Them Eat Cake. Let Them Eat Cake is a game of committees, medals and cake. Players elect officials, earn medals, raise generals , and most importantly eat cake.
I haven’t played Let Them Eat Cake, but I’m a fan of games that involve bluffing, and I’m a bigger fan of cake.
Frostgrave is one of the hottest games on the market, featuring a fast and furious combat system that children can understand. Frostgrave was created by Joseph McCullough and published by Osprey Games.
Frostgrave is a phenom.
Odin’s Ravens from Osprey Games is a race around the world. It uses card to create an environment where outwitting your opponent may be the only way to win. It takes seconds to learn and only minutes to play.
Would you believe the simplicity of this game is pretty complicated? Well, the tactics that can be created certainly are, and you can out think yourself.
My friends and I play Escape From the Aliens in Outerspace at Adepticon. As you will see it is a blind movement bluffing game. While I have only played it once, I believe it can turn into a very intense game where you might just out think yourself.
Special thanks to Christian and Joe for demonstrating this and taking time out of their schedule for us.
Matt takes his first look at Odin’s Ravens. On the video I said the game had a bgg rank of 150. The information given to me was incorrect, it’s currently ranked 850. Anyway it’s a game about racing around the world using a card driven mechanic.
I have played it half a dozen times now and I can’t believe how close the games have been.
Joseph talks with me about the ride that has been and is Frostgrave. Frostgrave is published by Osprey Publishing.
Over the next few months, I will be picking out my wizards for each school of magic. Come back soon and see what I have to say.
