Arena Rex was one of the hottest games at Adepticon. I would say the product was flying off the shelf, but they had a hard time getting it there. This is a full game demo. I believe it shows all the game mechanics. I had a good time playing Arena Rex and I look forward to seeing more in the future.
If you haven’t seen their models yet you should check out Arena Rex.
Demo This is Not a Test From Adepticon
This is Not a Test is a post apocalyptic miniatures game. It is super fast and had a great Kickstarter. I hope you enjoy this demo.
I just looked at the Kickstarter it funded by nearly 2,000 percent. That’s amazing!
Adepticon Wrap Up
My thoughts on Adepticon and the toys you will be seeing in the near future.
I hope that I can go back next year. It was a blast, I think it’s as about as far as I would like to drive for a con, but will see what the future holds.
Words With Steamforged Games @Adepticon
At Adepticon I met Steamforged Games. We chatted quite a bit about Guild Ball, their smashing new game, that is a lot like soccer with weapons.
Guild Ball is up for an Origins Award, if you’re heading to the show swing by their booth.
Words With Ronnie Renton @Adepticon 2016
I caught up with Ronnie Renton of Mantic Games while at Adepticon. We chatted about, Kings of War, Dreadball, Dungeon Saga, Warpath, and the possibility of an RPG. I always have a good time with Ronnie.
Maybe I should pitch the RPG and then move across the sea.
Words With Hyacinth Games @ Adepticon 2016
I sat down with Anton and Matt from Hyacinth games at Adepticon. We talked about Wreck-Age, specifically how well they are doing and vehicles.
Want to learn more check them out on Facebook or follow me on twitter and Facebook(links to the right) to see some more of their product.
So you like Post Apocalypse games? Try this one, the environment collapsed and the elitists left leaving most of the population to fend for itself. What has evolved? A Mad Max style world or one more like Resident Evil? There is enough room in this unique skirmish game that doubles as a strategy RPG. Wreck-Age use simple concepts to create complex tactical movements created by the player.
See how easy it is? Stop back tomorrow for an interview with the Wreck-Age Crew.
Words With Joseph McCullough on Frostgrave
Joseph talks with me about the ride that has been and is Frostgrave. Frostgrave is published by Osprey Publishing.
Over the next few months, I will be picking out my wizards for each school of magic. Come back soon and see what I have to say.
Words With Hawk Wargames Adepticon 2016
Simon chats with me about Drop Zone Commander and Dropfleet at Adepticon 2016.
I really can’t wait to see them at Origins. Oh yeah, I heard a rumor that the 40k Origins crew is running some events.
