WizKids shows off Batman at GenCon 2012

While at Gen Con 2012 we visited with the WizKids  crew.  They were happy to pull out the Batman figs for us (and others around).  I like where the game seems to be going and with all of the super hero RPG’s. This set is going to be a great addition to the scene. Batman No Man’s Land is scheduled for a November release.

Let’s take a look at some of these guys.

Oh my!  It’s E.T.  I was shocked to see these guys.  I really don’t know more than what you see, but they are cool.

Here we have Batman, this particular Batman can have the bat swarms added to the figure.  There are more pictures in the gallery at the end of the article.  While Batman isn’t the newest character around I think bat swarms is a new twist.

Batman has always been known for his gear.  WizKids has made that relevant with this future expansion.

The Utility Belt boasts 6 pieces of equipment and a bat cape.  The bat cape actually belongs in the cylinder.  The equipment can all be removed and attached to Batman.

Beyond that Batman is going to bring us vehicles. Vehicles are going to please a lot of players, especially role players.

I haven’t played HeroClix in a long time, but I can only imagine how this might change your game.  If you want to learn about the vehicle mechanic go here.  The article is the official preview of the vehicle rules.   It looks like it is going to be a good mechanic that will benefit the game.

 

Personally I am going to be picking up extras just so I can mod them for some 28mm games.  What can I do with some Batmobiles?
