I caught up with Chris From 1A Games to chat about Cross Hares and Tide of Iron. Chris goes over the new packaging for the Tides of box set.
Check back soon for the Tides of Iron and Cross Hares game overview.
If you have never seen these two games I suggest you give them a look.
Dave and I have a good talk about the new Heavy Gear Blitz Rules. Dave Touches on some of the major differences, like no more complicated movement, fire at top speed, and changes to combat. I hope to get Dave on my first miniatures show in October to chat about some of the other nuances like army construction.
Ernie walks us though the basic mechanics of combat used in All Quiet on the Martian Front.
All Quiet on the Martian front had a very successful Kickstarter. I look forward to many great things from this company. Look for my starter coverage soon.
At Gen Con 2014 I spoke with Dave from Hawk Wargames. He shares with us information about the new models and how Dropzone Commander is tournament based.
Dave lamented about haveing to rebuild ball joints and want not. One of the props was pretty badly damaged in shipping.
Mike invited me to his “palatial” suite at Gen Con 2014, and I happily accepted the invite. It isn’t every day that an aspiring author has the chance to speak with a best selling author about the industry.
Mike and I discussed:

One of the people I wanted to interview at Gen Con was Marc Tassin. Marc is the director of the Writer’s Symposium at Gen Con. Which as some of you may know has been the driving force behind me as a blogger.
