PARIS, FRANCE (November 10, 2016): After fully funding at $80,000 in four minutes and raising more than $300,000 in the first 24 hours, Mythic Games is thrilled to reveal today the Poseidon Expansion for the Mythic Battles: Pantheon board game. Through waves and thunder, with a sword in one hand and a sail line in the other, the Poseidon Expansion provides an entirely new tactical dimension to the Mythic Battles: Pantheon gameplay, including rules, scenarios and more for epic water warfare with an ocean environment, ship combat, sea creatures and Poseidon himself. The Poseidon Expansion includes 23 miniatures, one double-sided game board, eight character dashboards and stat clips, two troop cards, 36 activation cards, six new scenarios, six cardboard boats and 20 various tokens and overlays.
As the Kickstarter nears the $700,000 mark with more than 5000 backers, dozens of bonus Stretch Goals have been unlocked, added for free to all backers at the God Pledge level ($99). In addition to the already massive Mythic Battles: Pantheon Base Set, backers will receive:

Mythic Battles: Pantheon features a redesign by original Mythic Battles designer Benoit Vogt and game industry veteran Léonidas Vesperini, innovative game play for two-four players in both scenarios and skirmishes, highly detailed miniatures in scaled human, god and titan sizes and artwork by legendary fantasy artists Stefan Kopinksi, Paolo Parente, Guillem H. Pongiluppi and Loic Muzy. Mythic Battles: Pantheon is co-published by Mythic Games with Monolith Entertainment, publisher of the Conan Board Game.
The mighty Titans of Greek lore awoke and unleashed a massive attack on Olympus. While the Titans were ultimately defeated, the world was ravaged and the surviving Olympians now mere mortals. As the former Gods awake to a broken world, Mythic Battles: Pantheon begins their adventure through Olympus, Styx and the Labyrinth of Minos to regain the glory left decimated by the wrath of the Titans. Playing as Zeus, Athena or any number of Greek gods alongside an army of heroes such as Achilles and Hercules and monsters such as the Hydra, Cerberus and Medusa, in victory players will be a god.
Mythic Battles: Pantheon a “Project We Love” handpicked by Kickstarter, is expected to release in hobby game stores worldwide in late 2017. For more information, visit the Kickstarter campaign now in progress.
